Cross-Net Allocation and Proof of Address

  • The name and address of the parent or guardian who is the payer
  • Only the address, without any name
  • The name of the student only
  • The school net the family wishes to move to

Documents must carry both the name and address of the parent or guardian who is the payer, and the original must be shown to the school for checking.

  • Bank statements
  • A stamped tenancy agreement
  • A demand note for rates and/or Government rent
  • A public housing tenancy agreement or rent card

Bank statements, mobile phone bills, court summonses and tax demands are not accepted; utility bills, stamped tenancies, rates notes and public housing documents are.

  • It is re-determined by comparing the student's adjusted score with those of students in the new net
  • It is carried over from the original net unchanged
  • It is upgraded automatically as compensation for moving
  • It is decided by the new school net's secondary schools

The same score can fall into a different band in a different net, so moving to a stronger net may actually lower the student's position there.
